Derek Gregory’s ‘geographical imaginations’

Derek Gregory, Professor of Political Geography at UBC, has added his own distinctive voice to the blogosphere with the launch of ‘geographical imaginations: war, space and modernity‘.

In little over a week, Derek has provided us with a clutch of great posts and some fascinating insights into his working practices. Early highlights include:

…Derek’s 10 rules for giving a great—and visually rich—presentation (a post which should be essential reading for anyone intending to present at an international conference).

…A preview of Derek’s ongoing work on war, information and intelligence.

…Up Periscope: a summer reading list we should all aspire to.

As Stuart Elden has already noted, this is definitely a blog to watch!
