Prize for Phil Kirby

Phil Kirby, currently studying for a PhD at RHUL and regular poster to this blog, recently came third in RUSI’s Trench Gascoigne essay competition

Phil’s entry was titled ‘End of the rainbow? Terrorism and the future of public warning’ based on his PhD research on the US Homeland Security Advisory System (HSAS). Phil was awarded the £200 prize at the end of the Annual Chief of the Defence Staff’s lecture last night http://www.rusi.org/events/past/ref:E5097A2CAA2229/
